Congratulations to our young budding artists who recently had their artwork on display in the USD 259 Student Art Exhibit at Century II.
Remembering Mrs. Cody
We, at Cessna Elementary would like to honor our teacher, colleague, and friend, Loyce Cody, by designating a special part of the library as “Cody’s Corner.” This will be an area where students can relax and read in a brightly decorated, inviting space with comfy chairs and a bookshelf of books specially chosen for this area. We will be accepting monetary donations for this project from the entire Cessna Family. If you would like to make a donation, your child can give the money to their teacher or the office, in an envelope marked Cody Fund. Donations will be accepted for this project until April 13, 2012. We hope to have the project completed by May 3rd which is a family event night here at Cessna. In this small way we can allow Mrs. Cody’s warm smile to continue welcoming students to the joy of reading during their years here at Cessna Elementary.
