It’s that time again for the USD 259 Spring Art Exhibit which will be held at Century II in Exhibition Hall.
The exhibit will open on April 8th with the Final Friday reception on April 26, from 4:30 to 6:30, when refreshments will be served. The exhibit will end Thursday, May 2nd.
There is no entrance fee so make sure you come and please bring family members, neighbors and friends.
A handful of students will have their work on display from Cessna and there will be hundreds of fabulous artworks on display from other Wichita Public Schools.
The show is so much fun, don’t miss it and best of all, it is free! Cameras are welcome.
AVID
Cessna is proud to announce that we are one of seven AVID Elementary schools in USD 259! AVID means Achievement Via Individual Determination. The fourth and fifth grade teachers were trained in Dallas regarding college readiness activities such as organization, reading and writing skills, collaboration, and note-taking. The AVID program is very successful in many of our Wichita high schools and middle schools so we are very excited to be a part of this. We will share more information about what this means to your students at Open House.
